Asturias is home to immense creative talent, yet it often lacks spaces for connection, visibility, and resources to fully flourish. As a designer with over 10 years of experience, I’ve often felt the absence of support, references, and genuine professional connections within the local creative community.
Mission
From this realization, Xaréu was born — a collective designed to bridge these gaps and become an authentic meeting point for Asturian designers.
At Xaréu, every idea is a dialogue, every project is an encounter, and every outcome is a shared celebration. ✨
The main challenge was to create a space where Asturian creative talent could thrive.
We identified several key issues:
Lack of visibility and recognition for local designers and artists.
Creative isolation: Many professionals work alone, missing opportunities to share experiences or collaborate.
Common uncertainties: Pricing strategies, interview preparation, overcoming creative blocks, and navigating professional challenges.
